The Buildings Projects Department at Ashghal has set up a BIM & Digitalization Unit under Engineering Support Section (ESS) to enhance infiltration of BIM and digital technologies into project workflows.
The aim of the BIM & Digitalisation Unit within the Buildings Projects Department (BPD) is to implement BIM and digitalisation initiatives according to Ashghal’s policies, showcasing excellence, adaptability, and a forward-looking approach in delivering building projects.

Proposed technologies to be implemented in Ashghal, BPD are: IoT & Digital Twin, smart contracts, artificial intelligence.
