APMS was established with the aim of automating the engineering activities and commercial management of the contract life cycle management. The system is an integrated solution which Ashghal requires to manage its portfolio of design, construction, and supervision of projects. Using it as a central system for Ashghal Projects Portfolio Management Information. The system provides a tightly integrated components that provide control over commercial activities of the standard project life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Controlling, and Close-Out).
Ashghal intends to build & enhance a comprehensive, secured and fully integrated information system with mobility enablement to achieve. It also enables seamless implementation of portfolio projects commercial management process automation in general and all business process in EDB in specific. Furthermore, it facilitates information exchange with external systems to achieve smoother processing of commercial life cycle management for Ashghal portfolio projects. Moreover, it enhances engagement with stakeholders and partners through effective information sharing and improved EBD service level.
